About Lauren Guren, MD
Dr. Guren is a board-certified dermatologist with over 10 years of experience. She takes a thoughtful, patient-centered approach, focusing on understanding each person’s skin health concerns and goals to guide diagnosis, treatment, and long-term care.
Dr. Guren earned her medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine and completed her internship in internal medicine and residency in dermatology at Cleveland Clinic. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Brain Behavior & Cognitive Science, with a minor in French, from the University of Michigan.
With a strong foundation in dermatopathology and a record of published research and national presentations, Dr. Guren is committed to clear communication and evidence-based care. She is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society of Dermatopathology, the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, and the Women’s Dermatologic Society, and has long volunteered her time through skin cancer screenings and the Free Clinic of Greater Cleveland.
