Janet, 56

Dermatology patient spotlight: Janet

Janet has always been proactive about her health and took many actions to control her skin psoriasis, including phototherapy, topical medications, reducing alcohol consumption, and experimenting with her diet. “I thought I was doing all the right things, but I was concerned about my risk of psoriatic arthritis,” she says. When she learned about the AndHealth program, she was excited to enroll.

Janet’s AndHealth team helped her to identify poor sleep and stress as significant factors triggering her psoriasis flare-ups. Janet also implemented dietary changes, resulting in the complete resolution of her hand psoriasis. “The flexibility of the program and how they shape your progress helped me with my success because the team makes changes one small step at a time.” Janet now experiences total clearance of her hand rash, an outcome she had never achieved before!
