Rita Fisler, MD

Dr. Rita Fisler, M.D. is a board-certified dermatologist with over 20 years of experience. Dr. Fisler graduated from Harvard Medical School and completed her internship at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, followed by a dermatology residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center where she was Chief Resident. Dr. Fisler specializes in treating autoimmune diseases, such as psoriasis, psoriatic arthritis, lupus, hidradenitis and atopic dermatitis. She has extensive experience in general dermatology, dermatologic surgery, laser surgery, and cosmetic dermatology.

Dr. Fisler has undergone advanced training in Integrative Dermatology, and has a keen interest in addressing lifestyle issues and underlying factors that contribute to skin disease. She has completed course work at the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine, is trained as a Reiki Level 3 Master Teacher, and has completed training courses in Mindbody Stress Reduction. Dr. Fisler has been published in many medical journals through the years and has extensive experience presenting and lecturing to the medical community. She has mentored and trained many mid-level dermatology practitioners, and enjoys sharing her passion for dermatology with others. Dr. Fisler focuses on being highly accessible and responsive to each of her patient’s individual concerns, to help them achieve their skin care goals, and feel confident in their skin health and appearance.
